Championship year for Mumbai Indians
There was a plethora of congratulatory messages for the Mumbai Indians after their record third title. However, one special tweet that instantly caught the attention of the wrestling fans was that of the 14-time WWE World Champion Triple H. Paul Michael Lévesque, better known as Triple H to his fans, sent out a congratulatory tweet which also contained a message saying that something special was headed our way.
Congratulations, @mipaltan. @WWE has something headed your way! @WWEIndia https://t.co/Isjf4gmh1T

That something was nothing other than a customised WWE Championship belt, which had a custom-made Mumbai Indians plate on it. A few days later, Triple H tweeted an image of the belt which was on its way to the Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians, along with Rohit Sharma, took no time to share an image with the belt, holding the coveted prize. The newly minted championship belt plate had the Mumbai Indians logo on both sides of the iconic WWE logo. It was a wonderful gesture by Triple H and WWE.
Here it is! Thank you, @TripleH & @WWE for this amazing gesture! @WWEIndia @ImRo45 #CricketMeriJaan pic.twitter.com/025TYjMdHC

Skipper Rohit Sharma, evidently ecstatic shared the picture, claiming that it was ‘unreal to hold the WWE belt.’
Three IPL titles, two Champions League titles and now the WWE hardware means the trophy cabinet has a variety of special silverware. As a token of appreciation, Mumbai Indians sent a custom Mumbai Indians jersey to reigning WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. The Superstar thanked the team and did not take any time in pulling on the special jersey with pride and flaunting it!
It was a prized possession for Mumbai Indians and now for Jinder Mahal, who responded with a shout-out. He signed off with Mumbai Indians’ credo, Cricket Meri Jaan and it was a special occasion. Coincidentally, Mumbai Indians won the title on the same day Mahal won the WWE Championship.
It was a year full of championship glory for Mumbai Indians and Jinder Mahal. The team thanks WWE and Triple H for sending the coveted belt.
