Best Playing XI?
Hi, The opening game is just 4 days away! This is a nice time to guess what playing XI Mumbai Indians may start with. Tendulkar , Jayasuriya, Dhawan, Duminy, Pollard, Nayar, Chandan Madan (wk), Harbhajan, Zaheer, Dhawal, Malinga My four overseas players are Jayasuriya, Malinga, Duminy and Pollard. If Bravo returns from injury, Id probably have either Jayasuriya or Duminy go out depending on form. What would be your playing XI?

In this team we have the God of Cricket opening the batting with an explosive and very dangerous wicket keeper Ronchi. With consistent domestic performer Dhawan coming at no.3 and at four we have a promising & very talented Rayudu. Then comes the trio of big hitters Napier, Nayar & Pollard. But the batting doesn't stops here 'coz we have mercurial Bhajji at no.8, followed by Murtaza who can not only bat but hit big blows also.

At no.10 we have Zaheer who can bat and hit some good lusty blows along with Malinga. In the bowling department the Malinga will open along with Zaheer, which is a lethal combination for taking wickets and stopping runs. First change in bowling can see Napier, who can consistently clock 85 mph speed, with support from Pollard and Nayar. In the spin department we have Bhajji and Murtaza who can take wickets regularly and are the second wing of attack in bowling.

And then throw in some intelligent bowling by Sachin and handy overs by Rayudu. In the fielding department we have really superb fielders in Dhawan, Rayudu, Nayar, Pollard & Napier who can change the course of the game by thier own. And finally a fantastic wicket keeper in Ronchi who can be the next Gilly for Australia. So this team has the best balance in all departments with 11th player also capable of batting, superb bowling options from pace to spin and an agile fielding side.
