With four games to go, we're still in with a mathematical chance of making it to the playoffs. We cannot afford to lose hope. Mumbai Indians is known to pull off some magic towards the end, and although this hasn't quite been our season so far, you never ever know. See you in a couple of days back at our den, and until then, goodbye!

11:23 PM: And it ends.... in another last over heartbreak. We came incredibly close as we had to defend three runs from six balls. But it wasn't meant to be. It was a difficult pitch but the MI Boys gave it their all. We take important lessons from this game as we return home - to the Wankhede - to introspect and find the much-needed inspiration to bounce back the way we want.

11:15 PM: Ishan Kishan could breathe a sigh of relief as he managed to get Ayush Badoni run out. While Badoni crossed the line, his bat was still in the air hence the third umpire deemed it out.

11:07 PM: Gerald Coetzee is in the attack and he gets rid of Ashton Turner. The LSG batter tried flick to the back but the ball in turn crashed into the stumps. Looks like something is cooking. It comes down to the word 'BELIEVE'

10:53 PM: After a superb catch, 'Mr. President' Mohammad Nabi draws the curtains on Marcus Stoinis' innings of 62 runs in 45 balls. Nabi combined with Tilak Varma to dismiss the Australian all-rounder.

10:44 PM: Hardik gets his second. Deepak Hooda mistimed a short-of-length delivery and launched into the air, and Jasprit Bumrah completed the catch with ease. Hooda departs for a run-a-ball 18.

10:40 PM: Seven overs to go. 53 runs to defend. Paltan. let's keep praying for a next breakthrough.

10:16 PM: Captain HP dismisses Captain KL! Hardik bowls a hard length just outside off to Rahul and the LSG opener tried to heave it over the leg side. But it falls millimeters short and Mohammad Nabi completes a spectacular catch.

10:00 PM: *Manifesting a second wicket*

Now, that's a way to start!

9:21 PM: Innings end. Nehal Wadhera's determined batting display of 46 runs and Tim David's late onslaught catapulted the Mumbai Indians to 144/7 in their 20 overs. Now, it's onto our confident bowlers to step out and defend our total at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium.

9:11 PM: Mohammad Nabi's short stay is halted with a direct yorker from Mayank Yadav. The Afghan all-rounder departs for 1.

9:04 PM: A material knock from Nehal Wadhera was brought to a close by a yorker from Mohsin Khan. The southpaw departs with 46 runs on the board from 41 balls.

8:56 PM: Final four overs to go, and Mumbai Indians are at 106/5. Let's target a 150-plus from here on!!!

8:47 PM: An important 53-run partnership comes to an end. Ishan Kishan tries to go for the biggie but the delivery from Ravi Bishnoi takes a top edge and goes back to Mayank Yadav at short third.

8:22 PM: With Ishan Kishan (14) and Nehal Wadhera (9) at the crease, their 22-run partnership has got MI nearing the 50-run mark. Now its just about playing the safe shots and being consistent with getting runs on the board. Score after nine overs? 49/4.

8:02 PM: Powerplay score: 28/4. We won't give in. Let's start picking up the pace in the middle overs.

8:00 PM: Double blow! Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya are dismissed in succession. Initially, there was a call to get Tilak out for LBW but he unfortunately would be run out by Ravi Bishnoi. And on the very next ball, captain HP's attempt to go for a drive went unfortunately against his favour as the ball took a nick off his bat and went straight to KL Rahul.

7:42 PM: Surya is given out. Marcus Stoinis' delivery angled in to take a knick off SKY's bat, but instead, it took the faintest of touches off his glove and went straight into the hands of wicket-keeper KL Rahul. SKY scored 10 runs from six balls.

7:38 PM: This one hurts. Rohit Sharma departs for four runs. He tried to go for the cover drive but his shot off Mohsin Khan fell some steps short into the hands of Marcus Stoinis at short extra cover.

Here is your Playing XI for tonight's game!
