Quinton de Kock joins Mumbai Indians

South Africa’s premier wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock will represent Mumbai Indians in the 12th edition of the VIVO Indian Premier League. He was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2018 edition of the league and has also represented Delhi Daredevils previously.

In 34 matches, the South African wicket-keeper has amassed 927 runs including one century in his limited VIVO IPL career. The 25-year-old Protea affected 10 dismissals in the 2018 VIVO IPL.

Known for his aggressive hitting, de Kock has 852 runs in 34 T20Is for South Africa and 43 dismissals as a wicket-keeper.

VIVO IPL franchises will be able to trade until 7 days prior to the 2019 player auction.
