IPL has released the schedule for the first two weeks of the 2019 VIVO IPL season. The first two weeks will see a maximum of 17 matches being played. These matches are subject to the announcement of the Lok Sabha election dates.

BCCI is expected to announce the dates for the remainder of the season once the election dates are out.

The season kick-starts with defending champions Chennai Super Kings battling Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai on Saturday, March 23.

Mumbai Indians will play their first match in their home city against Delhi Capitals on March 24th in an evening clash.

Rohit Sharma and Co. will then travel to Bengaluru where they take on RCB on March 28. The Men in Blue and Gold will then move to Mohali for their second successive away fixture against KXIP on March 30.

The much-anticipated clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will take place on April 03 in Mumbai.

Each team will play a minimum of four matches in the first two weeks — two home and two away. Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play five matches each.
