AUSvIND, 4th T20I: YESSS, India makes astonishing comeback to take 2-1 lead

The Indian cricket team turned the 1-0 deficit around to take the advantage in the five-match T20I series courtesy of a stunning 48-run win.

After posting 167/8 on the board, the Indian bowlers did brilliantly to turn the tide in their favour, pocketing the all-important victory.

Coming in at No. 4 following Shivam Dube’s 22-run knock, the skipper smashed two huge sixes to accelerate the scorecard, much to the delight of the fans.

Towards the end of the innings, Axar’s unbeaten 21 off 11 propelled Team India to 167/8 in 20 overs.

Marsh, Short begin the chase on the front foot

The hosts started on a positive note, cruising at 67/2 within nine overs. Mitch Marsh (30) and Matthew Short (25) put the visitors under pressure. However, Team India had other ideas…

From 67/2 to 119/10, the bowling unit chipped in with regular breakthroughs to swing the momentum, not letting any batter free their arms and settle in.

Washington Sundar was the pick of the bowlers, claiming a fantastic 3/3 in 1.2 overs, getting the better of Stonis, Bartlett and Zampa to wrap things up.

SKY’s boys will now look to seal the series in Brisbane when the two sides lock horns on November 8.
