Born to dream, destined to shine! Happy Birthday Kamalini

Every rising star has a starting point, where dreams often begin in the smallest of places before finding their way onto the grandest of stages. Cricket gave our very own G. Kamalini a platform where she embraced every opportunity with confidence beyond years. Indeed, a journey fuelled by passion, shaped by perseverance and rewarded with opportunities to play the game at the highest level. ✨

She announced herself and made heads turn having represented Tamil Nadu at the under 19 level. Composed beyond her years with immense talent and potential, she quickly earned recognition as one of the brightest young talents of our country. This soon opened doors and her biggest break came through when she joined the MI family in 2025, and further went on to further earn the highest honour of representing the Women in Blue as she made her T20I debut versus Sri Lanka later in the year. 💙

 

What makes her story even more special is that it is still in its opening chapters and she has a long way ahead. She inspires countless young girls who dare to dream just as she once did. We at MI, wish her the best as she gears up to represent India at the upcoming Asian Games to be held in Japan during September 2026.
