The Indian cricket team has well and truly arrived on English soil!

Sure, you guys must be wondering why the two bowlers are mentioned here. 😌 Well, they woundn’t be here if not for the match-saving (read match-defining) 89-run partnership between them for the ninth wicket.

Ajinkya Rahane’s 100-run partnership with Cheteshwar Pujara gave India a decent cushion on Day 4.

But it was Bumrah (34* off 64) आणि Shami (56* off 70) who actually extended our lead to 271 runs shortly after Lunch on Day 5 as the team decided to declare the innings, setting a 272-run target.
