IPL Match 6 | GTvMI: Kem Cho, Amdavad! MI #AalaRe
Over the years there has been a certain vibe in the air when Mumbai Indians face Gujarat Titans 🎉. It is all about the anticipation and the build up to the game that creates a certain thrill. In the end, it all gets down to the matchups on field, and the moments that demand nerves of steel. It goes down to legacy versus hunger where every run is chased 👏, every century is celebrated 💪, every maximum smashed carries an emotion that lingers on Paltan’s mind… even after the game is done and dusted.💙
Let us gear up for another high voltage showdown at Ahmedabad, where our Men in Blue and Gold will face GT on 20th April 2026. It is time to recall those nights of brilliance where our boys rose above everything else. 👇
RO sets it up, Tilak knocks it down in thriller (2022)
6th May 2022 saw our very own TV shine at the Brabourne Stadium with a cameo knock of 21 in just 16 balls, including 2 fours and a SR- 131.25. He made heads turn in the cricketing fraternity and Paltan knew they had found a new super hero. In the end, GT found themselves on the wrong side, with MI clinching a five-run thriller.

Surya-TON-Sham (2023)
POTM Suryakumar Yadav’s maiden IPL century proved to be electric as Paltan witnessed it on 12th May 2023 at our fortress, Wankhede. He took matters into his own hands after MI lost two wickets. His 103 not out came in just 49 deliveries, aced with 11 fours and six maximums. Every scoop and flick turned the field into his canvas. GT kept searching for answers but the night belonged to MI.

Hardik’s 2/29 that stood out in a tough game (2025)
Some performances demand attention. HP’s 2/29 in four overs stood out for MI as Gujarat smashed runs at the other end. Unfortunately, MI found themselves at the wrong end even though Hardik showed a fighting spirit. 🎯

Will sparkles-Surya shines at Wankhede (2025)
A 53 in 35 balls in typical Will Jacks mode while Surya made 35 in 24 balls which helped MI reach 155/8. A game that was eventually decided by the DLS method, where we suffered a heartbreak in the one-over decider after the break.
*****
Rohit leads the charge and rises above all (2025)
Big games demand heroes to shine and our very own Mumbai Cha Raja did just that during the eliminator last year at Mullanpur. POTM Rohit slammed a great 81(50), with nine fours and four sixes to help Mumbai Indians win by 20 runs.
