In some super proud news for the Mumbai Indians #OneFamliy, one of our very own, the WPL Batting Coach, Devieka Palshikaar, is all set to join the Nepal Women’s cricket team as the Consultant ahead of the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers.

She boasts of a rich resume, having served as the Assistant Coach for the India Women’s team (2014-16) and the Assistant Coach of Bangladesh (2018), apart from her current stint in the Women’s T20 Challenge as the Head Coach of Velocity in 2022.

On a high now after successfully coaching MI to the WPL title, her vast experience is set to benefit the Himalayan nation vastly as they look to progress into the Global Qualifier. The Asia Qualifier is set to be held from August 31 to September 9 in Malaysia. Nepal is Group A along with Nepal, Malaysia, Bhutan, UAE and Qatar.
