The Boys’ U-16 knockouts in Mumbai of MI Junior saw R.R. Education Trust, Mulund, chasing down 92 runs in less than 24 overs against Modern English School, Chembur with Om Rajesh Bhabal starring with a five-wicket haul on Thursday.

Al-Barkaat Malik Muhammad Islam English School, Kurla secured a 47-run win victory Swami Vivekanand International School (SVIS), Kandivali, in a low-scoring match. Yuvraj Patil (3 for 12) and Karthik Kumar (3 for 17) joined hands to ensure that their modest total of 124 was defended convincingly eventually.

Tarapur Vidyamandir beat VK Krishna Menon Academy with Sahil Khan’s three-wicket haul propelling them to a win in the Super Knockouts. GES Chembur emerged victorious over Rizvi Springfield by six wickets in the same round, whereas IES New English School, Bandra lost no wickets in chasing down 95 against KC Gandhi English School, Kalyan.
