MI Junior 2024: Shri Rajendra High continue winning run in Nagpur
Abhimaan Singh (207* off 117), Kashyap Pataskar (183 off 118) and Khagesh Arvind Yadav (7-11) were instrumental in Aspire International School, Wardha Road’s victory over Tip Top Convent School in the Boys’ Under-14 category of the MI Junior competition in Nagpur on Tuesday.
Abhimaan and Kashyap smashed the Tip Top bowlers to all parts of the ground, taking the Aspire International total to 475/2 in 40 overs. With the ball, Khagesh was the architect of Tip Top’s downfall, bowling them out for 53.
Elsewhere, in the Boys’ Under 16 category in Nagpur, Shri Rajendra High School managed a whopping 483/6 in 40 overs, thanks to a stellar knock by Sarthak Karosiya (169 off 98). Opponents Reliance Foundation School, Mouda were restricted to just 54 runs, courtesy of a brilliant spell by Krish Sonkusre (6 for 17).
