After being put into bat, Team B began proceedings dominantly as they got off to a flyer with a 67-run opening stand between Faizan Syed (33) and Arjun Parsawar (30). Capitalising on an ideal start, Rohit Wanjari and Gaurav Wani forged a 96-run partnership for the 5^th wicket with the former going on to score a prolific and crafty half-century worth 69 runs. At the other end, Gaurav Wani remained unbeaten on 41 as he powered Team B to a decisive total of 219 runs in their stipulated 40 overs. Anukalp Wankhede starred with ball in hand for Team A as he picked up 4 crucial wickets and contributed significantly to steaming the run-flow at the business end of the innings.
