"A lot of guys are coming from playing international cricket so we haven't got much time together unlike the last time, in Dubai, where we began preparations a month before. But that's how the IPL has been played over the years, you just got to get in the game as quickly as possible. It can be difficult for teams that have great home records, but that is what sport is, you've got to go away and win."
23.24 PM IST: Harshal nudges a beautiful yorker from around the wicket from Jansen to take a single and steal a victory for RCB. RCB win the game by two wickets.

23.20 PM IST: De Villiers is run-out after a harsh call for two, after Harshal takes a single to bring de Villiers back on strike in the previous ball. He departs at 48 (27).

23.10 PM IST: A nervous 19th over as de Villiers slices away a marginally missed yorker from Bumrah for a four. It is followed by a couple of runs. 13 needed off 10 now.
23.07 PM IST: Boult takes over the bowling attack. A six and a four from de Villiers meant a 15-run over. This is inching close to a nail-biter. RCB are at 141/6, with two overs to go.
23.02 PM IST: Just five runs and one wicket off Bumrah's third over. He has given away just 14 runs in his three overs so far. RCB need 34 runs from 18 balls to win this game.
22.59 PM IST: Bumrah comes back into the attack. After sending down two proper yorkers, he sends out a quick, wide delivery, tempting Christan to attempt a shot. He does, and it leaves the ball in Rahul Chahar's hand. Bumrah and Mumbai Indians get another wicket. RCB are now at 122/6.
22.53 PM IST: Chahar bowls his last over for the game - 4, 6, 1, 1, 2, 1. He ends with the figures 4-0-43-0. It is time for a strategic time-out. RCB are at 121/5 with 4 overs left. 39 runs are needed off 24 balls to win this.
22.47 PM IST: Jansen scalps another one! Shahbaz Ahmed hits it straight to the fielder - Krunal Pandya! Just three runs in this over and 2 wickets to put the pressure on RCB.
22.42 PM IST: Newbie Jansen gets his first wicket on his return spell, and it is of the destructive Maxwell! It is a slower short ball at the leg stump that does the trick! Maxwell walks off after a solid 39 (28). Is this where the tide turns?
22.40 PM IST: A quick over from Rahul Chahar conceding just four runs. RCB have slowed down considerably. 103/3 at the end of 14 overs.
22.37 PM IST: Bumrah conjours up a magical over. Just four of it and the big wicket of a set Virat Kohli.
22.35 PM IST: Bumrah comes back with a boom, and how! He takes Virat Kohli out with a pretty straight delivery. It hits him just above the knee roll and is clearly out. Kohli is dismissed for 33 (29).
22.31 PM IST: Rahul Chahar comes into the attack. a six from Maxwell off the first ball, followed by a few runs between the wickets. 11 runs off that over and RCB are at 95/2 at the end of the 12th.
22.26 PM IST: Krunal Pandya finishes his quota of four overs. A 100 meter six from Maxwell and three singles to end it. Krunal finishes with 4-0-25-1.
22.22 PM IST: A superb fielding effort by Surya to dive and stop a ball from running away to the boundary. A couple of wides, a couple of singles and a couple of dots. Good comeback for Jansen, giving away just six runs here.

22.02 PM IST: Boult is back. Debutant Rajat Patidar hits him for a four in the first ball, but Boult has the last laugh. A slower knuckle ball to trick the newbie, getting the off stump from an inside edge. RCB at 46/2 in six overs.
21.58 PM IST: 1, W, 1, 1, 2, 1 - Krunal bowls a good first over and gives the Men in Blue and Gold a handy breakthrough. RCB are at 41/1 at the end of five.
21.55 PM IST: Krunal Pandya comes into the attack and he is almost immediately effective! Sundar gets a top edge and the ball finds Lynn's safe hands. One down for RCB.

21.51 PM IST: Jansen oversteps that allows Kohli to play a free-hit. He swipes it over short fine, waiting on the backfoot for the ball to come on, for a four.

21.18 PM IST: Wicket number five for Harshal as he bowls out debutant Marco Jansen with an inswinging yorker. The bowler misses a hattrick by one ball, but he still gets his five-wicket haul.
21.15 PM IST: Big Man Polly is on his way back too! A high flick to the fielder, Sundar, off a quick offbreak, costs the team a big wicket.
21.13 PM IST: Mumbai Indians lose Krunal Pandya in the first ball of the final over. A stylish shot, but goes too high without covering the distance. It is an easy grab for Christian.
21.12 PM IST: Pollard gets a four after trying to pull a slower short ball. It comes off the top edge and rushes beyond the 'keeper for a four. 12 runs from the over, Mumbai Indians are at 158/5 with one more to go.
21.08 PM IST: A no-ball four for Jamieson. Krunal manages a pull between deep backward square and deep mid-wicket. RCB have only 3 inside the circle, and MI get a free hit.
21.06 PM IST: Jamieson bowls the penultimate over, and it starts with some drama. Kohli drops Krunal, who smashed away a full ball in the slot to the RCB skipper.
21.04 PM IST: Harshal gets Ishan in the very next ball! A yorker at the middle stump strikes him on his leg, right in front of the middle. Originally declared not out, a review by RCB reversed the decision. Ishan walks back at 28 (19).
21.01 PM IST: Siraj drops a sitter off Ishan! A slower short ball from Harshal Patel tempts Ishan to pull, but finds an edge to Siraj at deep backward square leg. The fielder, however, allows the ball to pop out of his hand and miss a golden chance!

20.54 PM IST: A four for Ishan, who just clears deep square, who was just a few yards in. The umpires took some time in deciding if it was a six or a four, and replays showed the latter.
20.49 PM IST: Hardik has been given LBW. He reviews, but he has only been deceived by a dipping slower ball from Harshal Patel, which the tracker shows to hit the leg stumps. The departs at 13 (10).

20.43 PM IST: Hardik Pandya joins the boundary hitting party smashing an overpitched ball from Dan Christian right back to him.
20.38 PM IST: The little pocket dynamo has just arrived but he's raring to go! He hits a clean six, followed by a four between backward point and third man to announce his arrival.
20.34 PM IST: Lynn loses his wicket to Washington Sundar. A miscued slog and a cool Sundar, who caught the ball while fininshing his sprint, ended his stay at the crease. Lynn falls short of his first fifty in the MI jersey by just 1 run.
20.32 PM IST: A four from Lynn brings up the 100 for the Men in Blue and Gold. He hit it hard over the non-striker's end, without giving the long on any chances.
20.27 PM IST: Ishan Kishan takes his place in the crease. Mumbai Indians are at 94-2 at the end of the 11th over.
20.25 PM IST: Jamieson gets Surya! Mumbai Indians lose a big, set batsman. A slower ball does the trick, with it landing in AB de Villiers' hands after grazing Surya's bat.
20.23 PM IST: Surya gloves a length ball from Jamieson with a generous use of wrist movements. It's a big six that clears the ropes comfortably.
20.20 PM IST: Chahal gives only 3 off the tenth over. At the halfway mark, Mumbai Indians are at 86/1.
20.15 PM IST: Mumbai Indians are at 83/1 at the end of the ninth over, which Lynn and Surya got 13 off of.
20.10 PM IST: Yadav chopps a boundary between backward point and short third, bringing up a fifty-run partnership between him and Lynn.

19.46 PM IST: Lynn gets off the mark with an inside edge, with the delivery entually finding itself running towards the boundary.

19.43 PM IST: Rohit brings up the first boundary for the Mumbai Indians, just getting the ball over mid-off with a lofted drive off a full length delivery.
19.39 PM IST: Tight bowling from Jamieson. Just one run off the over for the Mumbai Indians. A slightly lucky espace for Lynn in the last ball, too, with him almost chopping the delivery back to the stumps.
