Who have Mumbai Indians retained?
Harmanpreet Kaur, our leader, legend, gun overseas all-rounders in Nat Sciver-Brunt and Hayley Matthews, last season’s young breakout star, Amanjot Kaur, and the 17-year-old wicket-keeping sensation, Kamalini G, are the five players to be retained.
Got it! And how much money do we have left to spend?
Mumbai Indians go into the WPL Auction with 5.75cr INR in their purse to spend. With a maximum squad strength of 18, we have another 13 players (4 overseas, 9 Indian) that we can go shopping for.
What about the RTM card?
Since teams were allowed a maximum of five retentions and MI retained five, we have no RTM cards available at the Auction.

A total of 277 players have registered themselves for the 73 total available slots, in slabs of 50lakhs, 40 lakhs, 30 lakhs, 20 lakhs and 10 lakhs INR. The marquee set would feature eight players: Deepti Sharma (India), Renuka Singh (India), Sophie Devine (New Zealand), Sophie Ecclestone (England), Alyssa Healy (Australia), Amelia Kerr (New Zealand), Meg Lanning (Australia), and Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa).
