Mumbai, 28th September 2026: Mumbai Indians have today announced their retained players ahead of the TATA Women’s Premier League 2027 season, retaining a core group of players as the franchise continues to build for the next chapter of its WPL journey.

The retained group features a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talent, with the franchise opting to maintain continuity while also creating room to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2027 season.

Players Retained:

Harmanpreet Kaur, Amanjot Kaur, Hayley Matthews, Amelia Kerr, Natalie Sciver-Brunt, Nicola Carey, Rahila Firdous, S. Sajana, Sanskriti Gupta, Shabnim Ismail and Vaishnavi Sharma.  

On the other hand, every journey has its chapters and while some chapters turn the page, the memories remain forever. Alas, goodbyes are difficult but the show must go on. Thank you #Batchof2026 for all the great memories.
