The Indian cricket team has announced its squad for the upcoming Test series against South Africa on home soil, scheduled to begin on November 14.

The 15-member crew comprises the majority of the players from the 2-0 Test series win over West Indies in October 2025.

Two top-performers from the England tour earlier this year, namely Rishabh Pant and Akash Deep, make their way back into the squad, replacing N Jagadeesan and Prasidh Krishna, respectively.

Spidey, who injured his foot during the Manchester Test in July 2025, returns as the vice-captain. 

Meanwhile, our BOOM BOOM BUMRAH, who simply loves playing versus the Proteas in red-ball cricket, will lead the bowling attack. The pace spearhead has taken 38 wickets in just eight Tests against them, averaging 20.76. 💪
