RECORD-BREAKER SURYA DADA! Most runs and sixes in a season in the Blue and Gold
Is there anything THE SURYAKUMAR YADAV cannot achieve at the moment??!! 🤩
Earlier this season, आपला Mr. 360° set the record for most successive 25+ scores in IPL history following our 100-run win over Rajasthan Royals.
His scary form simply continued to unsettle the opposition bowlers as he went on to register two fifties in the next three games leading up to the Playoffs, finishing the league phase with a 25+ score in each match! 🤯
That is some insane level of consistency, isn’t it, Paltan!!
Well, it doesn’t end there. 😉 With that scoring spree, SKY has now achieved the most runs and sixes by an MI batter in a single IPL season, going past Sachin Tendulkar (618 runs in 2010) and Sanath Jayasuriya (31 sixes in 2008) to lead the elite list.
On that note, let’s have a look at our top batters in each season of IPL history.
