Symbiosis School thrashed Don Bosco School by ten wickets in the Boys' U-16 category of the Mumbai Indians Junior Cricket Tournament in Pune on Tuesday.

Ruchir Deshpande picked up six crucial wickets to skittle out Bosco boys for 68 runs in 19.3 overs. Amey Dandekar then struck an unbeaten fifty to steer Symbiosis to a win in just 4.4 overs without losing any wicket. Dandekar's opening partner Arya Panse remained sedate from the other end and remained undefeated on 15 runs.

In the U-14 Boys match, Om Vadaraikar of Jaihind High School scored an exciting double ton to power his school to a massive 411-run win over Dr. GG Shah English Medium School. Vadaraikar smashed 215 runs in 103 balls to send GG Shah bowlers on a leather hunt along with Pushkar K who scored 193 runs as Jaihind plundered 490/3 in 35 overs.

In response, GG Shah school batsmen were bowled out for just 79 in 19.4 overs.
