Sachin Tendulkar has been widely regarded as the greatest batsman of all time in international cricket. Back in 2008, he was named as the icon player for Mumbai Indians. Till date, he remains the only MI cricketer to win an Orange Cap. 

His last season in the MI Blue and Gold was in 2013 where the team lifted their first-ever IPL trophy followed by the CLT20 trophy later that year. The batting maestro has ever since been associated with the franchise as an icon.
