24 मई 2023 का दिन हम सभी के लिए बहुत ही खास रहा। वजह थी एलिमिनेटर मुकाबले में लखनऊ पर 81 रनों की बड़ी जीत और इस जीत की बुनियाद रखने वाले एक खिलाड़ी का अविश्वनीय प्रदर्शन। ऐसा प्रदर्शन जो बरसों तक लोगों के दिल में बसा रहेगा। बेहद ही अहम और दबाव वाले मुकाबले में सिर्फ 5 रन देकर 5 विकेट हासिल करना वाकई किसी हैरतअंगेज कारनामे के बराबर है। उत्तराखंड में टेनिस-बॉल क्रिकेट से आईपीएल तक का सफर तय करने वाले हमारे होनहार गेंदबाज आकाश मधवाल का नाम आज हर किसी की जुबां पर है। और हो भी क्यों न उन्होंने कारनामा ही इतना शानदार किया है।

लखनऊ सुपर जायंट्स के खिलाफ शानदार स्विंग गेंदबाजी का मुजाहिरा करते हुए उन्होंने हमें चेन्नई से अहमदाबाद तक पहुंचा दिया है। यानी एलिमिनेटर से क्वालीफायर तक। इस यादगार प्रदर्शन के बाद सोशल मीडिया के जरिए आकाश को ढेरों प्यार और सराहना मिल रही है।
