Asia Cup 2025, INDvUAE: Emphatic. Clinical. India off to a flyer
Pheww, that was real quick! 🔥
A record-breaking evening for the defending champions saw them hammer UAE by nine wickets, registering their biggest win in T20Is in terms of balls to spare.
Opting to field first, the Indian cricket team seemed to be in a hurry to wrap the proceedings, bundling the opposition out for just 57 on the board. Thereafter, it was only a matter of time before the boys pocketed the W.
Here’s what went down at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium:
UAE go from 26/1 to 57 all-out
So beautiful, so elegant, just bowling like a wow! 🤯

Apart from Alishan Sharafu (22) and Muhammad Waseem (19), none of the batters even reached double digits. After BOOM BOOM BUMRAH opened the floodgates, Kuldeep Yadav & Shivam Dube shared seven wickets between them, making UAE look clueless in the middle.
Result? Absolutely no doubt about it
Opener Abhishek Sharma made his intentions clear with a six and a four on the first two balls of the run chase. 😎
Soon, Team India finished the game within the powerplay itself, but not before Surya दादा’s terrific maximum over fine leg off Junaid Siddique in the fourth over.
