AUSvIND, 3rd ODI: Brb, crying!!! RO-KO masterclass guides India to the VICTORY
Rohit and Virat on TOP म्हणजे weekend mood on TOP! 😎
The Indian cricket team avoided the whitewash in the three-match ODI series by winning the final game convincingly by nine wickets.
Asked to field first, the pacers and spinners took six and four wickets respectively to restrict Australia to 236/10.
Thereafter, Team India chased the target within 39 overs, all thanks to a terrific run chase by the most feared guys in world cricket. 💥
Here’s how things went at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground.
Aussies’ batting - From yayy to nayy
The Marsh-Head opening pair scored roughly run-a-ball before the latter fell to Mohd. Siraj in the last over of the powerplay. At the end of 10 overs, their scoreboard read 63/1.
Meanwhile, every batter took their time to settle in, but just when they were about to put the foot on the accelerator, a bowler would come in to derail their plans.
The Indian bowlers, led by Harshit Rana’s 4/39, took timely wickets throughout the innings to keep the scoring rate in check.
Pulling things back, the TEAM INDIA way
The home side were cruising at 183/3 in the 34th over, well on track for a 300-plus total. However, our bowlers, led by Harshit Rana’s 4/39, took quick wickets and bowled them out for 236, much to the delight of the fans. 🤗
Matt Renshaw was the pick of the batters, scoring a 58-ball 56.
A special mention to Shreyas Iyer, who took a stunning catch to dismiss Alex Carey and help Harshit Rana bag the first of his four wickets.
RO-KO blitz = Nostalgia ride for the fans
Some things are just…🥹🤌
Hitman’s love affair with the SCG continued with yet another half-century, his eighth 50+ score at the venue, whereas Kohli once again proved why he is known as the OG chase master!
