COMING SOON: Harman lifts the trophy and India win the World Cup in Aamchi Mumbai…

By Mumbai Indians

Aapli Kaptaan lifting India’s maiden ICC Trophy in front of 50000 shouting fans in Aamchi Mumbai – it’s a dream we’ve seen over and over, and it’s a dream that’s all set to turn into reality.

The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai has replaced Bengaluru as the host of the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 Final (subject to Pakistan’s qualification). This is a ground where Mumbai Indians have enjoyed some wonderful success, and the Indian women’s team in recent years has made it a fortress, beating England in a Test match apart from pulling off some super wins in the shorter formats.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, the WPL’s upcoming player of the season, Amanjot Kaur and the star keeper, Yastika Bhatia are all set to carry Mumbai Indians’ Blue and Gold flag in the Indian Blues. The Orange Cap holder and the WPL 2025 MVP, Nat Sciver-Brunt would be leading England.

In some other news around the world, the Hundred is on in full swing, and as usual our all-round quartet of Nat, Amelia Kerr, Hayley Matthews and Chloe Tryon have been wrecking havoc with both bat and ball, with Chloe’s Southern Brave on top of the table.

Remember, all roads lead to the World Cup. All performances, every outing is just adding up momentum for the mega event. Paltan, how excited are you to be part of history!
