Every MI season writes a new story. This IPL 2026 was all about resilience and fight. The scoreboard did not always smile at us, but beneath the results was a campaign filled with heart and character-building performances. Every match produced a new hero…through centuries, fiery spells, fearless cameos and exceptional catches. 💙

The Men in Blue and Gold turned moments into memories that will stay with the Paltan long after the season is over. In a year that tested us, what stood out was our senior pro playing their heart out, youngsters rising under pressure and new faces embracing the MI badge with pride. Some rediscovered their rhythm, while others announced their arrival in true MI style and together, they became the heart beat that defined our journey this year. 💪

RickelTON, MI’s powerhouse of runs

The powerhouse opener, our very own Ryan was fearless, explosive and elegant during his approach with the bat while opening the innings each time. His outstanding 123 not out in 55 balls against SRH was pure carnage. Also, a quick fire 83(32) earned him the Man of the Match versus LSG which helped script one of MI’s greatest run chases. Rickelton has always been a big match winner for us at Mumbai Indians, an outstanding team player and moreover a great wicketkeeper and that showed right from the first game opposite KKR where he made 81 within no time.

TV turned pressure into cinema

Tilak Varma was a man on a mission. Calm under pressure, taking on spin in a smart manner during the middle overs and rotating the strike. He was one of the brightest stars in the MI camp, his unbeaten 101 in 45 deliveries opposite GT and then showing abundant maturity and clean striking right till the end, with a great 75* versus PBKS. What stood out was our very own TV at his fluent best when the team needed him the most, taking ownership and guiding the side to a win. Paltan ensured they cheered him on during every game.

Vintage QDK: Explosive and beast mode on

Coming in and smacking the ball right from the first delivery, we saw Quinton’s trademark shots and stroke play at the top. Effortless sixes, calculative aggression while targeting bowlers in the middle was a pleasant sight for all the fans. His blazing 112* versus PBKS was brilliance at its best.

The classic Hitman show

Mumbaicha Raja Rohit Sharma finding his mojo and rhythm in the middle again after the injury hiccup was the biggest positive for MI. Scoring a great 78 opposite KKR in the first match of the season and then his brilliant 84 versus LSG showed flashes of Rohit’s dominance once again. His valuable and calm presence in the side remained extremely valuable. Hitman in Blue and Gold is a different vibe altogether.

Bosching his way in the middle with an all-round show

All-rounder Corbin Bosch became one of MI’s most utility and impactful players. Cameo knocks, wicket taking deliveries to becoming MI’s spider man on field taking great catches. His explosive 32* and 3/30 versus Kolkata Knight Riders made a lot of heads turn in the cricketing circuit. Boschy then grabbed 4/26 against RCB showing a lot of grit and fearless sportsmanship spirit.

Lord Shardul and his golden arm doing all the talking

During crucial games when breakthroughs were needed, Shardul Thakur always provided them. His 4/39 against PBKS and KKR respectively showcased his ability to snap wickets when the game looked like it was slipping away. His khadoos attitude always proved to be vital on field.

Young gun Ashwani Kumar’s massive impact with the ball

When MI was looking for its youngsters to rise and shine, Ashwani put his hand up with courage and control, snapping up 4/24 facing Gujarat Titans. His spell showed maturity and dominance, giving Mumbai Indians another bowling option for the future.

Naman Dhir turned opportunities into statement knocks

The Paltan found a new warrior in Naman Dhir. He showed tremendous temperament in pressure situations. Naman always adapted well no matter where he was batting in the side. Initially sent as a floater to then batting at the number three slot, his smart cricketing shots always added value. He delivered top notch half tons against CSK and PBKS and made a crucial 47 versus RCB.

Junior Paltan witnessed the SKY magic

The ESA day clash against RR saw Surya back amongst the runs at Wankhede. When a tough situation came about, he stuck in there dominating the opposition with his crucial 60(42). The body language was different and everything fell into place with MI’s X-factor finding form.

Kung-fu Pandya’s quickfire 34, brought Wankhede alive

MI skipper Hardik Pandya’s 34 in just 15 balls during the last game at Wankhede versus RR saw a lot of happy faces and cheering in the crowd. He dominated the bowlers and was always one step ahead of their plans. He helped kept the scoreboard ticking with runs, but unfortunately, we were unable to cross the winning line.

The fight never faded, the belief never broke…the Men in Blue and Gold always showed character! 💯💙
