Where did the name Rohita Sharma emerge from?
Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal can often be seen calling the Indian vice-captain as Rohita. The birthday boy revealed the mystery behind the same. He stated that Amit Mishra had made a mistake in Rohit's spelling on his phone which caught Chahal's attention.
"I'm pretty sure you guys know Amit Mishra, the leg spinner from Haryana. He plays for Delhi also. He had stored my name in his phone like that. There were a few people in the room at that point when I checked his phone and the name was written like that. Chahal was one of them. He found it very funny so he started calling me like that."

“I think I had a chance to score a (T20I) double hundred”
Rohit scored the fastest T20I century against Sri Lanka at Indore back in 2017. One of the fans reminisced the same and admitted to having broken three chairs in the stadium while jumping and cheering for him. Rohit rued on missing out on the possibility of scoring a double ton in a T20I.
"I had a good chance in that game. I think I could've gone on to score a double century as well. Because when I got out, there were more than 9 overs left. But anyway, 35-ball hundred, I'll take it."
