Let’s rewind the clock and recollect all the incredible moments that made our hearts full when MI met LSG during previous games.

Naman announces himself on the IPL stage (2024) 👊

Young gun Naman Dhir’s top show with the bat, smashing a 28-ball unbeaten 62 which included four boundaries and five maximums made the cricketing community sit back and take notice. Free-flowing and supremely confident in the middle versus LSG at Wankhede. The sparks were shown back then, a big knock from Dhir is loading in the coming games.

Mumbai Cha Raja, Hitman Sharma’s vintage and classic touch (2024) 👑

Rohit Sharma turned Wankhede into his very own canvas, painting it with pure timing. His 68 in 38 deliveries, with 10 fours and three sixes was all about control and piercing the gaps to perfection. Opening the innings, Rohit anchored the chase with perfection setting the tempo with his class.

HP’s five-star show with the ball, Lucknow (2025) ✋

Hardik Pandya led from the front with the ball, snapping up a fifer, 5/36 in his four overs. He picked key wickets of Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Rishabh Pant, David Miller and finally Akash Deep. It was an all-important spell filled with smartness, aggression and control with the ball. Later, he also made 28 not out in 16 balls, but alas, we could not cross the finishing line.

The script flipped during ESA day at Wankhede (2025) 🙌

The sea of Blue and Gold feels different at Wankhede during an ESA day clash. One sees special jerseys to heartfelt moments on and off the field as the stadium is buzzing with energy, as all the kids are rooting for Mumbai Indians. This particular home game never disappoints, and back then all the children found themselves with the biggest smile on their faces… as we won by 54 runs last year.

Batting first, MI notched up 215/7 in 20 overs courtesy brilliant knocks from Surya Kumar Yadav (54) who was in great touch smashing boundaries all over the park and Will Jacks’ sensible 21-ball 29. In reply, LSG ended with 161 in 20 overs. Bumrah grabbed a four-wicket haul, (4/22) while POTM Will Jacks did well with the ball too, 2/18 in just two overs.
