The young dynamic batsman returns to his home, the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Sarfaraz Khan
the 18-year-old batsman is known for his aggressive batting style. Sarfaraz spoke about his preparation for this year’s IPL. He said, “I have learnt a lot from the last year. I even played in the U-19 world cup where I learnt a lot. This year I am getting more experienced and there are players like Shane Watson in our team from whom I can learn a lot.”

The young batsman has certainly evolved a lot from last year and believes the key to improvement in his game is practice. “It all depends on the practice. Whatever I am, I am because of my father as he has made practice a lot and helped me with my game. In the first season, I made some mistakes and this season I have worked on it and have come back stronger and I hope I play better because of it.”

Ab de Villiers played a magical innings of 133* last time around at the Wankhede stadium against MI. Chris Gayle will not be playing tomorrow’s clash as he has gone home for the birth of his first child. RCB will be looking for contribution from the young man. “I will play for the first time for RCB at Wankhede if I get to bat tomorrow. But I hope I won’t because our top order is in very good form and it would be good for us. If I get to bat I would bat according to our situation,” says Sarfaraz.
