All-round MI humble KXIP
11:28 PM IST - A complete all-round performance from MI. Strong batting performance from Rohit, Pollard and Hardik. A target of 192 was always going to be difficult to chase and the bowlers continued to exert the pressure on the KXIP batsmen. Even the spinners had a good day. 48-run victory and placed at the first position on the points table. Good start for MI.

11:19 PM IST - Boult sends back Bishnoi in the penultimate over. Gowtham gets a four and a six in the last couple of balls. Bumrah bowls the final over and concedes just seven runs. Mumbai Indians have climbed to the top of the points table with this victory.
11:09 PM IST - Pattinson comes back for his final over and he strikes again. A toe-crusher and the umpire gives Sarfaraz out. The batsman reviews but the ball is clearly hitting the leg-stump. Just two runs from the over as Pattinson ends up with figures of 2/28.
11:03 PM IST - Bumrah keeps the pressure going on from the other end. After conceding just three runs in the first five balls, a high full toss to Neesham who completely mistimes it. Suryakumar makes no mistake as KXIP have been reduced to 112/6. The umpire checks for the no ball but it's a fair delivery.
10:55 PM IST - Rahul Chahar has troubled Maxwell with the ball for a while now as his struggle at the crease comes to an end. He finds Boult at deep mid wicket. Chahar finishes with exceptional figures of 2/26.

10:45 PM IST - Pattinson has got the much important wicket for MI. Angled outside and Pooran edges it to the wicketkeeper. He departs for 44 (27). KXIP require 87 runs from the last six overs with Bumrah and Boult having four overs left.
10:41 PM IST - MI continue to keep things in control despite Pooran looking to get under the ball. Krunal Pandya finishes his four-over quota with figures of 1/27. The required rate has now soared above 13.
10:30 PM IST - Pattinson comes back into the attack. Pooran scores another boundary but the right-arm pacer keeps it in control. Chahar continues from the other end and starts with a wrong'un. MI take review as the ball hit Pooran's pads but replays show it was pitching outside leg. Two balls later, Pooran hits him for a six over long-on. 15 runs from the over.
10:13 PM IST - Nicholas Pooran goes after Krunal with a six and a boundary to get going. However, Rahul Chahar strikes and gets the man-in-form KL Rahul in the next over. The KXIP skipper tried to go for a paddle-sweep but completely missed it. The bail goes off as MI gain momentum. Chahar continues to beat Maxwell on consecutive balls. Just four runs in the over.

9:38 PM IST - Trent Boult starts for MI with the new ball. KL Rahul takes a single before Mayank Agarwal pulls a shorter one towards deep square leg for a boundary. Boult goes for another short delivery and Rahul hits it for a boundary, falls a bit short of Krunal at long leg.
9:28 PM IST - After Rohit's blistering knock of 70 (45), it was Pollard and Hardik who did the finishing job for MI. Seems like KXIP missed a trick by getting done with Cottrell early, as both the hard-hitting batsmen feasted on the spinner in the final over. Four sixes!
9:19 PM IST - Spinner Gowtham for the final over and Hardik deposits him in the stands on his second ball. Takes a single and gives the strike to Pollard who then finishes off with a hattrick of sixes. Twice over the bowler and one over deep midwicket. Complete destruction by both as MI cross the 190-run mark.

Pollard then hits him for back-to-back fours over deep midwicket and over square leg. 37 runs in the last two overs.
9:06 PM IST - Neesham comes in for his final over and Hardik welcomes him with a six that clears the fielder at long-on. The hard-hitting batsman then hits consecutive boundaries towards deep extra cover. Another big over for MI as they score 18 runs from it.
8:57 PM IST - Rohit tries to take Shami to the cleaners on the first ball but finds Maxwell at long-on, who does well to throw the ball back to Neesham before crossing the boundary line. He departs for 70 (45). Shami is now the purple cap holder. In the last ball, Pollard gets adjudged LBW by the umpire and he reviews straightaway. Turns out there was some bat on it.
8:47 PM IST - Second fifty of Dream11 IPL 2020 for Captain Rohit. Reaches the mark in style with a boundary towards fine leg. Then finds the gap past extra cover for yet another boundary. But he's not done yet. Hitman continues the assault against Neesham with consecutive sixes. First one over deep square leg and the second one over deep extra cover. 22 runs in the over.

8:23 PM IST - After a prolonged stay at the crease, Ishan goes for the big one as he slams Bishnoi for a maximum over deep mid-wicket. The 50-run partnership also comes up between both batsmen. 11 runs from the over.
8:13 PM IST - Just when it seemed that the boundaries were drying up, Rohit breaks the shackles with a square cut that beats both point and third man for a boundary. He has raced to 34 runs from 24 deliveries.
