The Mumbai Indians boys may have been wearing different jerseys and performing across the globe in different leagues and tournaments, but the familiar trait… the never say die attitude always remains the same. The fearless stroke play, the hunger for wickets and the ability to turn the tide in one’s favour in a matter of moments strike out. Behind all the key numbers, was something extraordinary, as our cricketers seized the opportunity to produce their A-game. The Men in Blue and Gold were everywhere making heads turn in the cricketing universe.

Naman Dhir’s batting blitzkrieg

Pure destruction are the best words to describe our very own Naman Dhir’s tremendous knocks. His power hitting range was displayed from the very beginning. He started off his Sher-E-Punjab T20 campaign with a quickfire 47 in 22 balls, aced with one four and five sixes. His next knock stole all the spotlight as he notched up a century, smashing 117(56), SR-208 powered by seven fours and 10 huge sixes. During his third match, Naman ensured he remained till the very end helping his team cross the winning line with a Man of the Match performance of 88*(48).

The Ashwani Kumar bowling show

Hat-trick hero Ashwani Kumar has the ability to break partnerships, create panic in the opposition camp and produce wickets in clusters. When the opportunity arrived, he grabbed it with both hands during the Sher-E-Punjab T20 tournament. During his spectacular spell of four overs, he snapped up 4/35, with an economy of 8.8, including a hat-trick in the (16.6, 18.1 and 18.2 overs) of the contest.

Tilak Varma turns the tide with class and control

Leading from the front, Tilak smashed an outstanding and extremely valuable knock of 116*(250) for South Zone during the first innings of the Duleep Trophy 2026. When wickets fell at one end, he held onto his own ground and ensured he played with great commitment, patience and temperament in the red ball format. He followed it up with an unbeaten 51 in 79 thus bagging the Man of the Match award and taking his team into the final.

Quin-Ton De Kock mode activated

Quinny brought the Caribbean alive, with a magnificent 106 off 57 balls, 11 fours and six sixes. Turning pressure into entertainment and piercing the gaps with perfection. When QDK mode is activated, always expect a flurry of monster hits.

Mitchell Santner’s five-star show

A five-fer for Mitch in Voorburg, grabbing 5/16 in his four overs, economy of four. His first fifer in T20’s turned Europe into a carnival, earning him the Player of the Match. A perfect combination of control, flight and deception…helped him capitalize in the middle.

Thunder Boult’s lightning five-wicket haul

Man of the Match, Boulty at his best yet again picking 5/24 in four overs, his first fifer too in T20’s yet again coming in Voorburg. His special spell had everything in Europe… swing, seam, pace and precision.
