Aarya Wajge (105* off 57) slammed a scintillating ton to guide St. Columba School, Gamdevi to a convincing 207-run win over IES High School, Navi Mumbai in a Girls’ Under-15 league match of the MI Junior tournament in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Choosing to bat first, St. Columba piled up a total of 234/3 in 20 overs, with Aarya taking the IES bowlers to the cleaners, before bunding IES out for a meagre 27 runs.

Meanwhile, in a Boys’ Under-14 league game, medium-pacer Siddhant Singh (7 for 29) stole the show for Arya Gurukul CBSE, Kalyan, as they bowled out Vibgyor Root and Rise, Malad for just 78 runs. Arya Gurukul easily chased the target down in 8.3 overs for the loss of just one wicket.

In another match in the same category, Shlok Nar (104 off 63) smashed a quick-fire century to propel Balmohan Vidyamandir English Medium, Dadar to an impressive total of 258 against Ryan International School, Nerul.

In response, Ryan International were skittled out for 125, thanks to a three-wicket haul by Ved Khanbete (3 for 37).

Elsewhere, St. Gregorios High School, Chembur thumped St. Anne's Convent School, Vasai by 8 wickets in another Boys’ Under-14 league clash in Mumbai.

A stellar five-for by Vighra Hande (5 for 14) knocked over St. Anne's for a measly 77 runs, before St. Gregorios sailed to victory in 14.4 overs.
