MI Junior 2024: Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial School, St. Mary’s High School triumph in Girls’ Under-15 category

Half-centuries by Shourya Chiklikar (52 off 56) and Yesha Gala (51 off 51) led Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial School (Vile Parle) to a comfortable 54-run win over Omkar International School in an MI Junior Girls’ Under-15 league game in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Opting to bat, CNMS put up a huge total of 208/3 in 20 overs, thanks to Shourya and Yesha, before Omkar International were limited to 154/7 in their allotted 20 overs.

In another fixture in the Girls’ Under-15 category, Unnati Vinod Parmar (2 for 17) and Sai Hemant Tanavde (2 for 18) chipped in with two wickets each to bowl out Lok Puram Public School for just 82 runs. In response, St. Mary’s High School (Mulund) sailed to victory in 8.1 overs.
