The decision to bat first paid dividends for Team A as they started in fiery fashion with a 134-run opening stand between Aayush Shete and Swarn Katkar before the latter was dismissed for a resilient, supporting knock of 55 runs. Aayush Shete was then joined by Satyam Yadav at the crease and the duo continued the onslaught, forging a marauding 118-run partnership as both batters reached personal milestones. While Satyam Yadav scored a half-century, the protagonist of the innings was Aayush Shete who amassed a staggering century. Due to Aayush Shete’s stellar and scintillating ton worth 116 runs, Team A posted a daunting 293 runs in their stipulated 40 overs. On the bowling front, Bhagwan Pandhare fought single-handedly for his side, claiming 4 crucial wickets due to his impeccable bowling.

Faced with a colossal target, Team B was unable to build any substantial partnerships as their batters failed to capitalise on their starts with Musab Syed (49) and skipper Atharv Kalel (41) being the top-scorers. Aaditya Pandey (3/40) led a spirited bowling attack and sealed a thoroughly-deserved triumph for Team A.

In another match of the Boys category, Team D scraped past Team C in an adrenaline-enticing encounter to register a narrow 2-run win. The match saw plenty of runs scored and multiple half-centuries on both sides, but eventually, Team D held their nerve to defend 15 runs off the last 2 overs, thereby earning an exhilarating victory.
