After winning the toss, St. Rocks High School justified their decision to bat first as they got off to a flyer, due to a 172-run partnership between opener Shreya Sakhale and Drishi Hingarh for the 2nd wicket, before the former was dismissed for 27. Drishi Hingarh kept the momentum going as she forged another unbeaten 157-run stand with Akanksha More, who scored a marauding half-century worth 72 runs. After batting for almost the entire innings, Drishi Hingarh ended up scoring a scintillating and sensational century as she remained unbeaten on 155 runs, powering St. Rocks High School to a colossal total of 340 in their stipulated 20 overs.

In response, Chhatrabhuj Narsee Memorial School lost wickets at an alarming rate and were eventually bowled out for just 51 runs as the quartet of Reet Rai (3/5), Akanksha More (2/9), Drishi Hingarh (2/13) and Shreya Sakhale (2/18) struck at regular intervals.

After electing to bat first, Centre Point School were in a commanding position after an 88-run opening stand between skipper Faizan Syed and Armaan Sadhwani, before the latter was dismissed for 33. Skipper Faizan Syed carried the momentum forward, anchoring the innings with a prolific century worth 118 runs. On the bowling front, Jashwin Nayak’s 3 for 41 came as the only silver lining for Podar International School.

Chasing a towering total of 208, Podar International School were in a complete disarray as they lost wickets at an alarming rate and failed to build any substantial partnerships. However, it was Arjun Awazekar who stole the show in the second innings as he ran rampant, single-handedly dismantling Reliance Foundation School as he picked up an immaculate 8-wicket haul.

In the Girls U-15 category, St Joseph Convent High School dominated proceedings to register a 9-wicket win over Delhi Public School. The chief architect of the triumph was Latika Hirapure who scalped an scintillating 7-wicket haul as she received admirable support from Pragyasa Gaiwkad who bowled a double-wicket maiden.
