“We’re peaking at the right time”: RO, Surya, Hardik react after epic win over CSK
Paltan, are you over yesterday’s win already? Coz we are certainly not!!! 🤩
Our Boys in Blue and Gold put on a magnificent show to snap the four-game losing run against the Chennai Super Kings and they did so in a commanding fashion at our fortress. 🔥

The bowlers did fantastically well to restrict the opposition to a below-par total of 176/5. Thereafter, it was all about HITMAN’s “form is temporary, class is permanent” performance coupled with Surya दादा’s 🗿 30-ball 68* knock that powered us to a brilliant nine-wicket victory!
All-in-all, a third win on the trot means our confidence for the rest of the tournament is simply SKY high and there’s no stopping us from racking up more wins in the upcoming matches. 💪
Here’s what our 🌟 duo and captain Hardik Pandya had to say in the post-match presentation!
🗣️ Suryakumar Yadav: “It gets easier when I bat with him. He [Rohit] has been a legend of this game. I have grown up in the maidans of Mumbai… you play a lot of cricket on red soil, that's where it [sweep shot] has come from. When you come here [At Wankhede] you know what to do. I was really looking forward to bat today, it was a perfect situation and I was hitting the ball well in the nets also. I felt it was my day and just went out there and expressed myself. They were playing a lot of spinners, it was important to put my hand up and go up the order. It’s very important to understand what we want to do right now rather than looking at the points table, it is the bubble which we have created among us and to take it one game at a time.”

🗣️ Rohit Sharma: “That's what's special about Wankhede, they want to enjoy good cricket and today was a very good game for us. After being here for such a long period of time, it's easy to start doubting yourself and start doing different things. For me, it was important to do simple things & have a clear mindset. It was important for me to hold my shape and extend my arms and when the ball was in my area, I had to do what I have been doing. It's not easy when you haven't fielded for 17 overs, but I don't mind if my team wants me to come straightaway and bat. I enjoyed being out there… for me it's about staying and finishing the game, that's what gives me the most satisfaction. We are peaking at the right time and we’ve won three games in a row. It's a huge honour… having played all my cricket here, and now to have that [Rohit Sharma] stand, it's a big honour.”

🗣️ Hardik Pandya: “We knew it was going to be a high-scoring game and we took the percentage. The way Rohit & Suryakumar bat, it's a relief from outside. You don't have to worry about Rohit's form, when he comes good, we know the opposition will be out of the game and the way Surya batted it was great as well… that partnership took the game away. We’re sticking to the plans and playing simple cricket. At the end of the day, 175-180 was below-par. I think we weren't really far away from a win but we had to put things together.”

Right then, another +2 on the board, winning momentum on our side and form? TOP NOTCH. 😎 This is it. We have finally found our footing and as we said yesterday… ROK SAKO TOH ROK LO! 👊
