Chasing a whopping 229 for victory, he put the pressure on the LSG bowlers right from the start, never letting them settle in as he was at his majestic best. In the sixth over, he maximized the powerplay and made sure MI we well and truly in front in the chase, taking down Avesh Khan with two fours and two sixes in a 21-run over 💥. He set the tone with a boundary off the first ball, kept smashing it to all parts of the Wankhede after that, brought up his fifty in just 22 balls, and when he fell in the 11th over, had done enough to make sure MI had their noses well and truly ahead.

Naman’s finishing touches

He’s been the man in form. Coming in at number five tonight, he made sure there were no surprises in store, calmly sealing the deal with an unbeaten 12-ball 21, taking the side home comfortably, earning some much-needed points.

The Supergiants were off to a flier with the bat. Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran had put on a 94-run stand for the second wicket. Skipper SKY turned to Corbin Bosch.
