The team will then play back-to-back away games against the Kings XI Punjab at Mohali and the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. These encounters would be followed by consecutive games at home against the Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab which will also mark the end of the first half of Mumbai Indians' IPL 2020 campaign.

The four-time champions will then travel Chepauk to play Chennai Super Kings for the reverse fixture. The game is scheduled to be played on 24th April, which is also Sachin Tendulkar's birthday.

2012 & 2014 IPL winners Kolkata Knight Riders will face Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium on 28th April. The Delhi Capitals will then be facing Mumbai Indians in successive games, first at Wankhede on Maharashtra Day, i.e 1st May and then at the Arun Jaitley stadium on the 6th of May in Delhi.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will then be coming in to Mumbai for the reverse fixture on 9th May. The encounter against the Sunrisers Hyderabad also happens to be the last home game for the four-time IPL winning champions.

Mumbai Indians will again be on the road as they travel to Jaipur to face Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru. Interestingly, there’s a six-day break between both the fixtures. The match against RCB at the Chinnaswamy stadium will also be the final fixture of the league stage of the tournament.
