Trent Bridge. 2018. Aug 18-22. It was a Test that had everything 👉 Virat’s sublime ton, Pandya’s all-round brilliance, and Bumrah’s finishing fifer.
A performance that painted Trent Bridge blue. 💙
🎥 Let’s rewind to 2018 and revisit the famous win.
🔥 Hardik Pandya’s all-round Show
With England steady at 86/3, in came Power Pandya with the ball… and the game flipped in a heartbeat. His very first delivery removed Joe Root, and from there on, it was carnage.
Pandya tore through the middle and lower order, claiming five of the last seven wickets. England were bundled out for 161 in just 38.2 overs courtesy HP’s 5/28 in six overs.
But Pandya wasn’t done yet. With India already in command in the second innings, he walked in at 282/5 and smashed a blistering 52* off 52 balls. His quickfire knock, filled with fearless intent, ensured India finished at 352/7 dec., setting England a mammoth 520-run target.
