Paltan pro-tips for a hassle-free Wankhede experience at IPL 2024!

Can you feel it? It’s not even a sleep away. A few more snoozes on your alarm, and it will be time for Mumbai Indians’ first home game of IPL 2024. The Wankhede is ready in all its glory. Are you? You say you’re heading over to the HOME of the Mumbai Indians? Here’s a few pro-tips on what is allowed, what’s not, and the things for you to keep in mind before we see you at Churchgate..

KEEP YOUR TICKETS HANDY:

You’ll need them to enter Wankhede Stadium. Only one-person-per-ticket is allowed entry, and you can pick them up from the Box Office at Gate No. 10, Brabourne Stadium.

FOLLOW THE SIGNS:

Wankhede Stadium is full of signs that will help you find your way to your seat in the stands. Please follow them in a civil manner, ensuring both you and others around you, reach your seats safely.

LEAVE YOUR CAR AT HOME:

Use public transport instead as there’s no parking at Wankhede Stadium. The nearest train station is Churchgate and the nearest bus stop is Marine Drive. 

DRESS NOT TO IMPRESS:

Instead, wear loose, lightweight and light-coloured clothes considering the current weather OR your MI jersey. Also carry shades for your eyes, and a damp cloth for good measure.

ONCE YOU’RE IN, YOU’RE IN:

We have a strict NO RE-ENTRY policy once you enter the stadium. So please ensure you leave the premises, once the match is done, or only if you REALLY have to.

* ANIMALS OTHER THAN SERVICE ANIMALS

* ROLLERBLADES/SKATEBOARDS SCOOTERS

* COMPRESSED GAS

* CANNISTERS AND OTHER FLAMMABLE ITEMS

* OFFENSIVE OR POLITICAL SIGNAGE

* NO HELMETS

* NO BACKPACKS ALLOWED

* NO COINS

* DRONES OR UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
