Two iconic cities, two iconic teams, two iconic captains, two iconic fan-bases, one iconic battle.

Let’s admit it, this was probably the first game you’d marked out when the schedule was out. At RCB’s home, in front of a packed audience, this is going to be as loud as the WPL has ever been. It might be an away game, but it’s a ground where Mumbai Indians have very fond memories, having found multiple ways to silence the sea of Red over the last sixteen years in the IPL. It’s time to bring that to the WPL.

Both teams have gotten off to very similar starts so far in the season, winning their respective first game by the skin of their teeth, winning the second one comfortably, and then losing their third. They’re coming in hungry and keen to stay in the top three. More importantly, the bragging rights that could potentially last a lifetime are at stake.

There really aren’t many better ways to be spending your Saturday evening.

What: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians
When: March 1, 2024 | 7:30pm IST
Where: Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
What to expect: Our Kaptaan Kaur should be back at the helm. And we should be back to winning ways. Also, a flat deck that progressively keeps getting better to bat on. Okay, keep some earplugs handy in case you happen to be in the vicinity of Cubbon Park.
