#OnThisDay in 2015, 2019 and 2022 - RoSky ruling charts

By Mumbai Indians

Some days are just meant for the history books and when it comes to our boys, they make sure to etch their names in blue and gold letters! 💥

#OnThisDay, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav delivered absolute masterclasses across formats, against South Africa on three separate occasions. Let’s rewind to those iconic knocks that still give us goosebumps!

2015 | Dharamsala | Hitman’s first T20I century

RO doesn’t just bat, he paints poetry with the willow!

Back in 2015, Rohit Sharma smashed his maiden T20I century (106 off 66) at Dharamsala. Let’s just say, he was practising “muh pe dega toh deta hu na” well in advance. 😉

Although India didn’t end up on the winning side, Rohit’s innings stood tall like a lighthouse.

2019 | Vizag | Twin tons in maiden Test as opener

The first time felt so nice, RO had to do it twice! 😌

In 2019, Rohit walked out as a Test opener for the very first time in his career and boy, did he own it! He slammed 176 in the first innings and 127 in the second, making the Proteas bowlers look absolutely clueless.

He redefined dominance, cementing the opening slot for the subsequent years in red-ball cricket. The sheer brilliance helped Team India win by a massive margin of 203 runs. ✔️

2022 | Guwahati | Surya दादा’s raadaaa

Enter Suryakumar Yadav in the chat.

SKY was in his element against South Africa at Guwahati, turning the stadium into his personal launchpad with a 61 off just 22 balls, hitting five fours and maximums apiece.

Moreover, thanks to the tod fod, he completed 1000* runs in T20Is, paving the way for a 16-run victory in a high-scoring encounter. 🔥
