Simmons stars as Windies draw level

By Mumbai Indians

The crowd at the Greenfield International Stadium witnessed some spectacular power-hitting by the Caribbean batsmen. With the series level, both teams will now head to Mumbai for the final frontier.

Here are the five talking points after the 2nd T20I.

Shivam Dube justifies promotion

Virat Kohli decided to promote Shivam Dube at number three. The 26-year old made full use of his promotion as he registered his first ever T20I fifty and ended up as the top run-scorer. He even hit Pollard for three back-to-back sixes.

Good outing for Pant

It wasn't an easy pitch to bat but Rishabh Pant looked quite comfortable. Hitting a six on his second ball to get off the mark, he scored a quickfire 33* (22). Behind the stumps, Pant dropped Lewis but soon made up for his mistake by dislodging his bails.

Kesrick Williams has a new celebration

After being taken to the cleaners by Virat Kohli in the previous game, Kesrick Williams managed to get the better of the Indian skipper this time. He decided to indulge in a silent celebration unlike his trademark notebook celebration. He ended up with figures of 2/30.

Butter-fingers, India!

The Men in Blue were nowhere near their best on the field. Dropped catches by Washington Sundar and Pant followed by some loose fielding from Ravindra Jadeja didn't help India's cause.

West Indies display their batting prowess

Evin Lewis put up another spectacular show at the top scoring a scintillating 40 (35). However, it was Lendl Simmons who was the star of the day with a spectacular knock of 67* (45). Nicholas Pooran 38* (18) finished well too as West Indies won by eight wickets.

The final showdown is all set to take place at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on the 11th of December.
