Mumbai Indians have named Vaishnavi Sharma as the replacement player for G Kamalini, who has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury. MI would like to wish Kamalini a speedy recovery and we look forward forward to seeing her back soon on the field. 

Vaishnavi, who just recently earned her maiden ODI call-up to the national team, was a part of the squad that won the 2025 U-19 T20 World Cup and was also the leading wicket-taker of the tournament. She joins the squad for the remainder of the season. 

A left-arm spinner from Madhya Pradesh, the 20-year-old Vaishnavi was impressive in her debut series against Sri Lanka, impressing with her loop and guile that got some crucial breakthroughs.
