About Jasprit
A unique run-up and a slanted-arm load-up had Jasprit Bumrah standing out the moment our eyes fell on him. But the actual exhibition of his talent came in the 2013 IPL, impressing immediately on debut, with a 3/32 against RCB and the wickets of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in his kitty.
He has been with MI from the start and has certainly grown multifolds to become the leader of the Indian pace attack. His spells in 2017 (2/26 vs RPSG) and 2019 finals (2/14 vs CSK) won not only the hearts of the Paltan but showed just why he is an individual who loves pressure.
He's had a dream run of form across formats leading up to the 2025 season – capping off the triumphant T20 World Cup 2024 with a Player of the Tournament laurel, picking 32 wickets in five matches to win the Player of the Series award in the BGT 2024-25 and being named as the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2024 among other major highlights.
Safe to say, the NATIONAL TREASURE brought his breathtaking form to IPL 2025 as well, where he bagged 18 wickets in 12 games at an economy of 6.67, the best among bowlers with 10+ wickets.
