About Amelia
A double-century in international cricket is a big deal, a once in a lifetime thing. A fifer is rare enough. Imagine getting them both in the same game. Amelia Kerr managed this feat, at 17 years of age!
The daughter of two First Class cricketers and the granddaughter of Bruce Murray, a Kiwi Test payer, she started off as a leg-spinner, who often opened the batting in school cricket. In 2016, she made her international debut, and impressed immediately with her all-round abilities. The Blue and Gold has been the home of quite a few ODI double-centurions, and Kerr fits in perfectly.
