Raw pace with a deadly bouncer in his bag, that’s Riley Meredith for you. The Tasmania quick is back with us, after injury ruled Jhye Richardson out of this year’s IPL. He is coming off an impressive stint with the Hobart Hurricanes in the BBL for the 2022-23 season, with 21 wickets in 14 games, finishing as the league’s fifth highest wicket-taker.
Riley made his T20I debut against New Zealand in 2021, and has been in and around the Australian setup for a while. At 26, in red-hot form, it’s going to be a real sight watching him get batters hopping around with the Arabian sea breeze behind him on a bouncy Wankhede!
