Once Abhishek Sharma’s excellent 37-ball 75 knock came to an end courtesy of an unfortunate run out in the 12th over, the scoring rate arguably declined. Bangladesh pulled things back in the middle overs, taking wickets at regular intervals.

Nonetheless, HP held the fort at one end and finished at 38* as India posted 168/6 in their quota of 20 overs.
