#TheEliminator Preview: This is our home territory

By Mumbai Indians

Paltan, your prayers were answered! Our efforts have fruitified. Mumbai Indians are in the IPL Playoffs for the 10th season! Let's keep marching forward.

Let's not look too far ahead, shall we. Just one step: the Eliminator. That's it. Lucknow Super Giants. That's all. One step. We beat them, avenge our heartbreak from last week, and then worry about opening the next door.

Let us begin with something optimistic to read. The last four times we made the playoffs, MI returned as champions (2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020). And so suddenly, our 0-3 head-to-head record against LSG doesn't feel all that bad, does it?

We have momentum on our side following the electric display on Sunday. The gears are fine-tuned, the hunger renewed and we BELIEVE. We're turning it into an anthem.

Paltan, तुम्ही सगळे लोक आमच्या सोबत आहेत ना?

What: Lucknow Super Giants vs Mumbai Indians

When: Wednesday, May 24, 2023

Where: MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai

What to expect: The Blue and Gold army swamping the yellow seats of Chepauk. The pitch in all likelihood will be a used one, so expect it to turn more than usual. Our record here in Chennai is, well, just as good as CSK's…surely we know what needs to be done.

What you need to do: Exactly whatever you’ve been doing over in the league phase. Eat the same food, sit in the same spot, wear the same colours, say the same prayers. Everything. Exactly. As. It. Was.

What they said: “It was absolutely awesome batting with Rohit in the middle. I was trying to smack spinners and he was batting beautifully against pace bowlers. So that’s how we went about it.” – Cameron Green on how skipper Rohit Sharma played a part in his maiden T20 century.
