By Mumbai Indians

Paltan, it is now time to move ahead with a fresh approach as the next half of IPL 2026 approaches ✊. With seven more games remaining in the league stage for us this season, let’s get behind our boys in full force with the loudest chants and positive energy at our fortress. Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede on 29th April 2026. Over the years, this fixture always has something exciting to showcase. A single over, a spell, a big innings and then everything changes. Different seasons, now gen-next ready to step up, but when the game hangs in balance, a new hero emerges for MI and owns the moment. At the end of the day, when the match hangs by a thread, fans are on the edge of their seats and there comes the turning moment. If you blink, you miss it. 💙

Before the Blue and Gold clash against the players in Orange, let us rewind the clock and walk down memory lane and revisit MI’s special moments when scripts flipped and so did our heartbeats. 🥶

Master’s final touch and the Pollard carnage at Wankhede (2013)

The world’s favourite Sachin Tendulkar signed off his IPL journey at home, with a valuable 38 runs that set the tone for the remaining batters. Once the stage was set, Kieron Pollard walked in and smashed 66*(27), laced with two fours and eight maximums. His brutal attack with the bat indeed bought fear amongst the opposition. MI chased down 184/3 in 19.3 overs in a super-exciting finish.
