In what turned out to be a heavily one-sided contest, Shri Rajendra High School dominated proceedings to thump Reliance Foundation School to register a towering 378-run victory in a league match of the Mumbai Indians Junior Under-16 Boys Inter School Cricket Tournament 2026.
After being put into bat, Shri Rajendra High School got off to a flyer as their openers forged a dominant 224-run opening stand before Yugansh Shahare was dismissed for 60. The hero was the match however, was Samarth Namsani who went on to score an impeccable double century worth 202 runs as he toyed with the bowlers with ease and unleased a flurry of scintillating strokes. Another half-centurion emerged in Raunik Hedau (77) as Shri Rajendra High School posted a daunting total of 428 runs at the completion of the first innings.
In response, Reliance Foundation School lost wickets at an alarming rate and were eventually bundled out for just 50 runs as Veer Donode tore through the batting with a clinical 5-wicket haul.
In the Girls U-15 Category, Shri Rajendra High School pulverised Delhi Public School to such an extent that the latter conceded the match before the completion of the first innings.
